BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. -- A difficult second day left the Felician College men's golf team with a 17th-place team result at the Mike Bello Invitational, hosted by Le Moyne College on Sunday and Monday at Timber Banks Golf Club.

With Felician playing among the largest field it had seen this season, freshman No. 2 starter Andrew Geesey (Red Lion, Pa.) was the only team member to finish in the top half. Geesey came out with a +1 round of 73 on Sunday before settling for 86 on Monday. His 36-hole total of 159 (+15) tied him for 38th place out of 92 entrants.

Geesey's 73 led the Golden Falcons to a Day 1 team score of 328, leaving them in 13th place. On Monday, however, no one in Felician's five-man line-up fared better than the 85 by senior Barry Tsouhnikas (Clifton, N.J.). The Golden Falcons could only manage a 354 team score, and dropped four spots in the final standings with their 682. They were one stroke behind 16th-place Nazareth College. The College of Saint Rose was 15th with 665.

Individually, Tsouhnikas tied for 64th with his 82-85-167. Also competing for Felician were junior Chris Zito (South Hackensack, N.J.) (77th, 85-87-172), freshman Kevin Berdnik (Clifton, N.J.) (T-87th, 88-96-184), and senior Anthony Bizien (Hazlet, N.J.) (91st, 114-117-231).

Bentley University, which went under par as a team on Sunday, shot 286-299-585 to win the tournament title by four shots over Concordia (N.Y.) College. Sylvain Debais of the University of Massachusetts Lowell claimed medalist honors by winning a one-hole playoff over Concordia's Jeff Schaller after both players shot a -5 total of 139.

Felician completes its 2012-13 campaign by competing in an 18-hole, four-team event hosted by Philadelphia University on Tuesday.
