Felician Comes In Ninth At CACC Golf Championship

BLUE BELL, Pa. – Felician College came in ninth at the 2014 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Championship, hosted by Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday and Wednesday at Blue Bell Country Club. The Golden Falcons improved by one slot over the 10th-place result they posted in each of the last two years.

Felician sat in ninth place after Tuesday's opening round with a team score of 369. The Golden Falcons sliced 27 strokes off their score on Wednesday, but could not move up in the standings. Their 36-hole total of 711 was nine shots behind eighth-place Post University, and 30 ahead of the University of the Sciences in 10th.

Both Felician sophomore Andrew Geesey (Red Lion, Pa./Dallastown Area) and junior Jordan Tackett (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) finished among the top half of the field.
