ROCKVILLE CENTER, N.Y. – A dominating second quarter and a double-double from Briana Lee (Jersey City, N.J. / Irvington) on 22 points and 11 rebounds propelled the Felician women's basketball team to a 62-43 win over Molloy Sunday. Felician made it a weekend sweep at Molloy's Tournament to improve to 3-2 on the season, coupled with its Saturday win over Queens, 68-45.

Leading 14-12 after the first, the Golden Falcons stormed out to a 15-0 run to start the second quarter, outscoring the Lions 19-3 in the period to lead 33-15 at halftime. Felician led by as much as 21 points and no less than ten the rest of the way. Lee had 15 of her 22 points in the opening half, as well as five of her 11 boards. She led the contest in both categories.

Katelyn Andres (North Bergen, N.J. / North Bergen) finished with 14 points and three rebounds, while Courtney Logan (Riverview, Fla. / East Bay) had eight points with a pair of boards. Natalie Choppotin (Elizabeth, N.J. / Elizabeth) was second on the team with six rebounds, as Natalia Lucic (Grindavik, Iceland / Sudurnes Comprehensive College) led the team with four assists.

The Golden Falcons forced the Lions into 28 turnovers for a 25-15 lead in points off turnovers. The green and gold also led 24-8 in points in the paint and 22-10 in bench points. Felician shot 37.1 percent for the game (23-of-62), making 5-of-17 from long range and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line. Molloy managed 20.8 percent shooting (10-of-48) with 3-of-14 on 3-pointers and 20-of-26 on free throws.

The Golden Falcons open their CACC season this Wednesday hosting Dominican at 5:30 p.m.
