PHILADELPHIA, PA – Felician Women's Basketball traveled to Philadelphia, PA to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponents Jefferson University Rams for its final match up before the new year. In the contest, the Golden Falcons were not able to surpass Jefferson's offense and fell 90-63.

Jefferson opened the game on a 9-0 run until Catherine Lecop (Madrid, Spain) was sent to the line to sink both free-throws to put the squad on the scoreboard. Ultimately, Felician found themselves going into halftime trailing 56-34. In the fourth quarter, Felician was able to outscore Jefferson 16-15, with Rosie Arias (Linden, NJ) netting two from behind the arc for 6-points. Hahne recorded the final bucket for the Golden Falcons on a layup before Jefferson could run away with the win.

The Golden Falcons bench posted half of team's points with 34 and sophomore, Mimmi Hahne (Sollentuna, Sweden) tied her career-high in points with 16 as a reserve.

Katelyn Andres (North Bergen, NJ) had a game-high of 17-points and 2 steals and Briana Lee (Jersey City, NJ) had 12-points and 5 rebounds. As a team, the Golden Falcons shot 93% from the line and 45% from the field.

The Golden Falcons head into the new year 5-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Felician basketball will be back on Jan. 4 at JJJ Gymnasium to host Alliance University where the women will tip-off at 5:30pm.
