EAST NORDINGTON, PA – Felician Bowling (No. 5 Seed) faced off with the No. 4 Seed, Caldwell University, for the first round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Bowling Championships Friday morning. The loser of the morning match will play tomorrow at 8:30am against the loser of Bloomfield and Chestnut Hill matchup.

In today's format, the Golden Falcons completed one traditional match and a Bakers match with the Cougars where the green-and-gold will ultimately drop to its opposers, 0-2.  

Madelyn Weston (Hatboro, PA) led the squad with a total of 214 during the first match while Ashley Ferrara (Beachwood, NJ) had 189 and Sandra Hornor (Brick, NJ) totaled 181. Natalia Oganda (Queretaro, Mexico) paced behind Hornor with 134 and Bianca Revenga (Caracas, Venezuela) 91.

As a result of the first match, the Golden Falcons fell to the Cougars 849-809. Leading into the second round, the squad battled in a Bakers match where they totaled 692 compared to Caldwell's 823 for its second loss of the day.

Felician looks to stay alive in the tournament as they head into the Elimination round tomorrow at 8:30am.
