ORLANDO, FL – Felician Golf traveled to Orlando, FL to participate in the Golden Knights Orlando Invite, hosted by the College of Saint Rose, at Eagle Creek GC on March 27-28.
Freshman, Pablo Hidalgo (Marbella, Spain) broke the Felician Low Individual Round with a 66 (-6) on Monday, 3/27, to ultimately place first after 56-holes with a 66-74–140 (-4) score.
Cesar Castellano (Madrid, Spain) finished with a carded score of 80-75-155 (+11) for a 16th place finish and Kristian O'Grady (Thiells, NY) totaled a 166 (81-85) for a +22 in 21st. James Surovcik (Philadelphia, PA) tied for 23rd with three other golfers in the tournament as they each finished with a score of 171 (+27).
Dylan Molloy (Spotswood, NJ) and Brandon Mudrick (Hamburg, NJ) took the 28th and 29th spots respectively, as Molloy finished with a 94-83-177 (+33) and Mudrick being three strokes behind with a carded score of 94-86-180 (+36).
As a team, the Golden Falcons finished fifth overall with a 312-315-627 (+51) score to cap off the two-day event.
The green-and-gold will be back on the course April 3 as they head to West Chester, PA for the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational (36 holes) at the Penn Oaks GC.
