POMONA, NY – On April 7-8, Felician Men's Golf competed in the Saint Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Shootout where the squad placed sixth with a finalized score of 313-329 – 642 (+66) after 36-holes.
Pablo Hidalgo (Marbella, Spain) finished tied for 15th shooting par in round one with a 72 to finish with an 80 in round two for an overall card of 152 (+8). Cesar Castellano (Madrid, Spain) was next for the green-and-gold as he shot 79-80 – 159 (+15) and Kristian O'Grady (Thiells, NY) finished with 82-83 – 165 (+21).
Gonzalo Maldonado Felices (Almeria, Spain) finished one stroke behind O'Grady with a score of 80-86 – 166 (+22). Dylan Molloy (Spotswood, NJ) finalized a score of 85-91 -176 (+32) while Brandon Mudrick (Hamburg, NJ) capped off the event shooting 93 in both rounds for an overall 186 (+42).
The golf team will close out its Spring Season next Monday, April 17, for a two-day event at the 2023 Hawk Invitational at Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, NH.
