Rutherford, N.J. - Felician women's basketball rolled past Jefferson Tuesday night, 81-51, inside JJJ Gymnasium to earn their first win in conference play.
The Golden Falcons dominated the interior from start to finish, outscoring the Rams 52-16 in the pain and out-rebounding 53-23. Felician shot an efficient 49% from field.
Freshman
Lilla Szilvassy powered the win with 24 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double.
Stephanie Formby finished with her fourth straight double-double, including 17 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks.
Ane Valle added 13 points and eight boards.
After trailing early, Felician took control midway through the first quarter and never looked back, using a 22-point second quarter to build a double-digit lead at halftime. The Golden Falcons kept their foot on the gas, closing the game with a 23-10 fourth quarter to secure the dominant win.
