Princeton, NJ – The Golden Falcons dominated the Princeton Open, placing seven wrestlers on the podium in their opening event of the 2025–26 campaign. Felician starts the new season with strong momentum and standout individual performances.
On the Mat
Felician set the tone early, highlighted by first-year wrestler Christina Borgmann, who stormed through the field with a perfect 5–0 run. Borgmann did not concede a point until the finals, marking an impressive collegiate debut.
After dropping her opening match, Cerenity Whiting rallied back with six straight victories to finish the day 6–1 and earn third place. Also securing a top finish for the Falcons was Elinor Underwood, who posted a 5–1 record to claim first place in her bracket.
Lina Rodriguez earned a fourth-place finish in the 138-pound weight class with a 3–2 performance. Returning national qualifier Talisha Lewis (4–2) and teammate Gianna Bonaccorso (4–2) both battled to fifth-place finishes. Rounding out the podium group was junior Theresa Zeppetelli, who secured sixth place to give Felician seven total placers on the day.
