RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician University women's basketball team came up short against Caldwell University, dropping a 63-45 contest in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup on Wednesday evening at Job Gymnasium.

Felician (8-14, 3-7 CACC) started strong, keeping pace with Caldwell (12-9, 6-4 CACC) in the first quarter, trailing by just two points at 15-13. However, a tough second quarter saw the Golden Falcons outscored 21-7, giving the Cougars a commanding halftime lead at 36-20. Despite a third-quarter push, Felician was unable to close the gap as Caldwell secured the victory.

Freshman Stephanie Formby was the bright spot for Felician, delivering a dominant performance with a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds. She shot an efficient 9-for-15 from the field and added six free throws on seven attempts.

Noella Biduaya contributed five points, four rebounds, and three steals, while Natalia Lucic and Adriana Perez each chipped in three points. Despite forcing 12 steals, the Golden Falcons struggled with ball security, committing 32 turnovers that led to 32 points for Caldwell.

For the Cougars, Jah'Nel Lewis led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds. Neysa Aguilar followed with 16 points, while Lucy Coogan added 13 points and nine boards. Caldwell capitalized on Felician's mistakes, turning turnovers into easy transition baskets and dominating points in the paint (32-24).
