Philadelphia, Pa.: The women's basketball team saw its postseason run come to an end on Tuesday night, falling to top-seeded Jefferson University, 75-57, in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Quarterfinals.

Despite a strong second quarter surge, the Golden Falcons could not overcome the Rams' offensive efficiency and dominance on the boards. 

Jefferson set the tone early, jumping out to a 25-13 lead after the first quarter. Felician responded in the second quarter, outscoring the Rams 21-17 behind Noella Biduaya and CACC Rookie of the Year Stephanie Formby. 

The Golden Falcons continued to battle, with Ane Valle leading the way with a double-double, tallying 14 points and 10 rebounds. Formby and Biduaya each contributed 14 and 13 points, respectively. Jefferson pulled away in the second half with a strong defense that held Felician to just nine points in the fourth quarter and maintaining control of the paint.
