New Castle, DE. - The Felician University women's bowling team placed first at the Northeast Roundup to round out the regular season. The Golden Falcons totaled eight wins with one loss, while averaging 198.8 per game.
In the traditional format, Felician took four games against Caldwell, Long Island, Kutztown, and Mercy. The team continued the momentum into the total pinfall round, taking wins against Chestnut Hill, Holy Family, and Wilmington. The team's only loss came to Molloy, falling 1,027-1,094.
The Golden Falcons avenged their one loss to Molloy in the championship match, taking it 4-2.
Felician swept the podium in individual standings.
Olivia Salvatore earned first place, averaging 216.8 per game.
Mackenzie Keane followed in second with a 205.6 average.
Vivian Luna rounded out the top three with a 205 average.
The team will travel to Pennsylvania to compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships. The tournament will start March 20 at 10:00 AM.
