John McGarry

Fifteen years after his graduation, John McGarry remained the all-time leading scorer in Felician men’s soccer history. During his career from 1999 to 2002, he racked up 131 points on 55 goals and 21 assists. He accomplished this feat despite playing his entire career alongside Gary Hanly, who is second in school annals with 127 points.
 
McGarry was elected to the all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference team on three occasions. As a junior in 2001, he led the CACC with 18 goals. He was also a two-time CACC All-Tournament selection. His 2000 squad, along with that fall’s men’s cross-country team, were the first two Golden Falcon teams to advance to national competition.
 
McGarry recieved a B.A. degree in social and behavioral science from Felician in 2003. He then returned to his native Toronto, Ontario. For the last 14 years he has been a law enforcement officer with the Toronto Police Service.
 
McGarry lives in Toronto with his wife, Michelle. The couple has three childen -- Madison, Brady and Nathan.
