Sadot Williams was the top performer during one of the best periods in the history of Felician men’s basketball.
Individually, the point guard graduated as Felician’s all-time leading scorer. His 1,439 points still rank second in school history, as do his 315 assists. He is also the Golden Falcons’ career record holder for three-point field goals, with 200.
Williams was twice elected to the All-CACC team, and as sophomore in 2003-04, was also chosen to the All-Met Writers squad.
During Williams’ career, which spanned from 2002-06, the Golden Falcons won 60 games, including a 49-31 (.613) record in CACC play.
In 2003-04, Felician went 18-11 overall and 16-4 in league games. That year’s Golden Falcons captured the CACC regular-season title and the ECAC Division II championship. Williams helped guide Felician to another ECAC postseason appearance the following year.
Williams is the first men’s basketball player to be inducted into the Felician Athletics Hall of Fame.
Williams played scholastically at Irvington High School. He earned a B.S. in marketing and management from Felician in 2006. He spent two seasons (2010-12) as the freshman boys’ basketball coach at Irvington High.
Williams lives in Irvington with his wife, Lariace, and their daughter, Mahila Renee. He possesses a commercial driver’s license, and is a truck driver for Peerless Beverage Company in Union.
