Felician University

Farheen Abbasi became an assistant coach on the Felician cross-country staff in August 2019, and was hired by Anthony Scannella as the distance specialist for women's track & field shortly thereafter.

Abbasi competed for Memorial High School of West New York, then was a four-year cross-country runner for Felician's CACC rival, Bloomfield College, serving as a captain as a senior. She was named the CACC Runner of the Week on Oct. 21, 2013.

Abbasi went on to earn a B.S. degree in biology from Kean University in 2018. She married fellow Felician assistant coach Hussein Harb in August 2019. They live in West New York.
