PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Despite a season-high 10 kills from freshman outside Anni Polscher (Elmshorn, Germany), the Felician College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-6, 25-19, 25-22) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to host Philadelphia University on Saturday afternoon at the Gallagher Center.

Philadelphia (8-7, 5-3) took care of the first set quickly, getting out to leads of 8-0 and 19-2. The Rams then captured small leads early in the final two sets and made them stand up. The Ram defense held Felician to a negative attack percentage and picked up nine blocks.

Polscher added eight digs and junior Jenna Matesic (Paramus, NJ) had seven kills, 10 digs and three blocks for the Golden Falcons, who fall to 0-16 and 0-9. Senior Ashlee DiSalvo (Batavia, NY) topped all players in the match with 23 digs.

Brittany Olson (Sycamore, IL) led a balanced Philadelphia offense with seven kills.
