WATERBURY, Conn. – The Felician College women's volleyball team was defeated in a tight first set on Thursday night, and could not mount a comeback in a 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-20) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to host Post University at the Drubner Center. Post (7-15, 6-7 CACC) earned a sweep of the two-match season series against the Golden Falcons.

Felician freshman outside Anni Polscher (Elmshorn, Germany) had 11 kills, tying for match-high honors, and six digs. Junior outside Jenna Matesic (Paramus, NJ) recorded eight kills and five digs, and senior libero Ashlee DiSalvo (Batavia, NY) led all players in the match with 15 digs.

Sophomore Belinda Snider (Norwalk, CT) paced the Eagles with 11 kills and four blocks. Taylor Doyle (Mystic, CT) picked up 29 assists and 11 digs.

Post owned an advantage of .287-.115 in team attack percentage. The hosts also survived 11 service errors.
