WILMINGTON, Del. -- Sophomore middle Alexa Scrivanich (Paramus, NJ) posted a career-high 12 kills and a season-high five blocks, but the Felician College volleyball team was defeated by host Goldey-Beacom College, 3-0 (25-22, 26-24, 25-16), in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference interdivisional match on Saturday afternoon at the Joseph West Jones Center.

Led by Scrivanich's .478 attack percentage, Felician (0-13, 0-6) hit a season-high .140 on the day. Sophomore Gabby Migliore (West Caldwell, NJ) matched a personal best with 30 assists, including nine kills for junior Jenna Matesic (Paramus, NJ).

The Lightning, however, won the key points late in the first two sets before pulling away for the Set 3 victory and the sweep. GBC (7-6, 3-2) owned a 10-0 advantage in service aces. Monica Dempsey contributed 22 assists, 18 digs and five aces for the hosts.
