Box Score RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Bloomfield College earned a momentum-changing first-set win and went on to a 3-0 (29-27, 25-7, 25-14) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's volleyball victory over host Felician College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium.
In a back-and-forth opening set, Felician took a 24-21 lead. But Bloomfield (4-6, 3-5 CACC) saved all three set points, and outlasted the Golden Falcons for a 29-27 victory. The Deacons never trailed in the final two sets, committing only three combined attack errors.
Freshman Anni Polscher (Elmshorn, Germany/KGSE) led Felician (0-15, 0-8) with seven kills and six digs. Sophomore Alexa Scrivanich (Paramus, NJ/Paramus) added six kills and two blocks for the hosts.
Bloomfield had a team attack percentage of .410 for the match. Junior Clodesh Montano (Carolina, P.R.) hit .882 with 15 kills in 17 attempts.
