RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Dominican (N.Y.) College posted a .384 team attack percentage in its 3-0 (25-17, 25-9, 25-15) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division women's volleyball victory over host Felician College on Wednesday night at Job Gymnasium. The match was the 2011 home opener for Felician and began conference play for both schools.

Sophomore Gabby Migliore (West Caldwell, NJ/James Caldwell) set up 16 assists and added seven digs for Felician (0-5, 0-1). Jenna Matesic (Paramus, NJ/Paramus) topped the Golden Falcons offense with seven kills. Courtney Heard (Ventura, CA/Buena) hit .583 with 15 kills for Dominican (2-1, 1-0).

The Chargers turned a 6-6 tie into a 20-12 lead in the first set before closing things out, then hit .519 without an attack error in a dominant Set 2. The visitors also never trailed in the third set, closing out the match by scoring eight of the final nine points.

Felician returns home on Saturday to host a tri-match with Georgian Court University and Southern Connecticut State University beginning at noon. A CACC match between the Golden Falcons and GCU begins the day.
