RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Despite 10 kills from freshman middle/opposite Olivia Emerson (Sparks, Nev.), the Felician College women's volleyball team fell to host Dominican (N.Y.) College in three sets, 25-20, 25-16, 25-13, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action Friday night on the Hennessy Center's Coach Baxter Court. Dominican (10-7, 6-0 CACC) is the first-place team in the CACC North Division.

Dominican never trailed in the opening set, and only briefly in the final two. The Chargers hit .210 as a team for the night, led by 12 kills and a .647 attack percentage from senior Courtney Heard (Ventura, Calif.).

Freshman Kayla Gallagher (Bloomingburg, N.Y.) posted six kills for Felician (1-10, 1-4). Classmate Susan McKeever (North Fort Myers, Fla.) had 12 assists and a team-high 10 digs.
