Box Score RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Holy Family University saved a set point in the first set before going on to a 3-0 (26-24, 25-19, 25-12) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's volleyball victory over host Felician College on Saturday afternoon at Job Gymnasium.
Freshman middle Kayla Gallagher (Bloomingburg, N.Y./Pine Bush) led Felician (1-11, 1-5 CACC) with nine kills and a .389 attack percentage.
Trailing 24-23 in the opening set, Holy Family (5-13, 3-4) scored the set's final three points, with Rachel Johnson (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln Way West) posting two kills and a block in that stretch. The Tigers pulled away from an 11-11 tie to lead 23-15 in Set 2, and jumped out to an 11-3 Set 3 lead before securing the match in straight sets.
Johnson led all players with 11 kills. HFU setter Chelsea Keegan (Bucyrus, Ohio/Colonel Crawford) accumulated 35 assists and three aces.
Felician senior Jenna Matesic (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) had a match-high 12 digs.
