ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – Dominican (N.Y.) College scored 10 of the final 11 third-set points to close out a 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-14) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's volleyball victory over visiting Felician College on Tuesday night on the Hennessy Center's Coach Baxter Court.

Senior middle Tonia Ford (Bayonne, N.J.) led Felician (0-4, 0-2 CACC) with six kills. McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) topped all players with 15 kills for Dominican and added seven digs and two aces. Fellow sophomore Courtney Yeoman (Glenn Dale, Md.) hit .438 with nine kills for the Chargers.

The Golden Falcons fought back from a 20-11 first-set deficit to pull to within 22-20. But a kill by Yeoman, a John service ace and a Felician error gave the set to the hosts. Felician fell behind, 10-3, in Set 2 and never recovered. Dominican quickly extended to a 22-9 edge, and won the set six points later on a kill by Kera Dexter (Selah, Wash.).

The third set featured five lead changes and eight ties in the first 24 points. But with the score knotted at 12-12, Felician could only muster a Kristen Keller (Reading, Pa.) kill and a Charger service error the rest of the way, bowing, 25-14.

Dominican (3-0, 2-0) hit .289 as a team for the night and held the Golden Falcons to a negative attack percentage. Dexter finished with five kills, 16 assists and six digs.

Junior Susie McKeever (North Fort Myers, Fla.) amassed two kills, 14 assists and four digs for Felician.
