RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Dr. Anne M. Prisco, president of Felician University, is inviting the Felician and Bergen County communities to enjoy a "Green-Out Night" as the Golden Falcon women's volleyball team hosts Dominican (N.Y.) College on Wednesday, November 4. The match's first service will take place at 7 p.m.
The match will mark the first Felician home intercollegiate athletics event since the institution was accorded University status on Monday. To celebrate that milestone, Dr. Prisco will welcome all fans in attendance to Felician University and introduce the starting line-ups.
In the spirit of the Green-Out, Golden Falcon fans are encouraged to wear dark green. Admission is FREE for all fans, but voluntary donations will be accepted at the door by members of the Felician Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to benefit Make-A-Wish® America, of which NCAA Division II is a national sponsor.
Green-Out T-shirts will be given away while supplies last.
The Felician women's volleyball team (5-22, 3-12 CACC), coached by John Chang, is looking for a return trip to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) playoffs after a one-year absence. The top four teams in the CACC North Division at season's end will qualify for the league tournament. Felician is one game behind Dominican (4-23, 4-11) for fourth place with four matches remaining.
