Box Score LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Felician University junior midfielder Amanda Nowak (Lyndhurst, N.J.) picked up two goals and an assist and classmate Magdalena Brodka (East Rutherford, N.J.) came off the bench to score twice as the Golden Falcons earned a 7-1 non-conference women's soccer victory over host The Lincoln University on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Stadium.
Brodka earned the first multi-goal game of her career. Junior forward Danielle Stoll (Wanaque, N.J.) recorded a goal and an assist for Felician (1-2).
The Golden Falcons took control early, scoring three times in the first 13 minutes. Just 3:36 into the contest, Stoll's corner kick meandered through a series of defenders and entered the goal untouched by another Felician player. Stoll then assisted on Katina Kozlowski's (Milton, N.Y.) tally in the 11th minute. Just 1:26 later, sophomore Liana Chirichiello (Waldwick, N.J.) was the first player to get to an attempted Lincoln defensive clear, and touched the ball to teammate Azra Buljko (Hackettstown, N.J.), who finished to give the visitors a 3-0 lead.
Felician extended its edge to 6-0 by halftime. The Golden Falcons out-shot Lincoln, 16-1, in the opening period and 30-8 for the day. The Lions avoided the shutout when Dena Ingraham lofted a shot that fell just under the crossbar with 5:25 left in the game.
Golden Falcon junior goalkeeper Bjonda Ademi (Wayne, N.J.) made six saves in 77 scoreless minutes. Lena Rodriguez stopped 13 shots for Lincoln (1-2).
