Box Score PHILADELPHIA – Felician University lost its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's volleyball match to host Holy Family University, 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-7), on Saturday afternoon at the Campus Center Gymnasium. Sophomore setter Miquela Martinez (Santa Fe, N.M.) led Felician with 14 assists and 14 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Allyssa Hartney (Garnet Valley, Pa.) amassed a .526 attack percentage and a match-high 11 hills for Holy Family (3-1, 3-1 CACC).
The Golden Falcons (1-3, 1-3) were held to a .000 attack percentage on the day. Senior Katie Asbery (Mililani, Hawaii) and junior Maddie Sloan (Caldwell, N.J.) topped the Felician offense with five kills each.
Felician trailed, 14-12, in Set 1 before the Tigers captured the next the next six rallies to pull away. HFU put together a longer point streak in set 2, extending a four-point advantage to 22-11 with a 7-0 run. The hosts then jumped out to leads of 4-0 and 9-2 in Set 3 en route to closing out the match.
Felician junior Alondra Diaz Sanchez (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) came up with 11 digs and two kills from her libero position.
