The first goal of the match was by Dominican, red shirt Sophomore, Kaitlyn Zeeb, assisted by Isabella Wysocki. But 2 minutes later, the Golden Falcons answered back with a goal of its own by Briana Franco (Totowa, NJ), her 3rd of the season, off a double assist by Lindsay Whaley (Subic Bay, Phillipines) and Katinka Ummels (Urmond, Netherlands) to tie the match 1-1.
The tied score was short lived as Dominican took back the lead on a Mathilde Skovbakke header from a corner kick by Isabella Wysocki, her second assist of the day, to extend the Charger lead, 2-1. In just a span of 5-minutes, 3 goals were recorded in favor of Dominican, which ultimately led to the final score of the match.
Turi ended the day with 2 shots, one on goal, and Ummels, Whaley, Kate Braun (Long Branch, NJ), and Darla Kertesz (Paramus, NJ) all recorded a shot for the Golden Falcon offense.
