Box Score BRIDGEPORT, CT- Felician Women's Soccer team was shut out, 7-0, by the University of Bridgeport in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up Tuesday afternoon in Bridgeport, CT.
Only 3 Felician players were able to record a shot in the match. Carlie Koziol (East Rutherford, NJ) was the lone Golden Falcon to be able to attempt a shot almost 30-minutes into play and Bianca Revenga (Caracas, Venezuela) and Julia Vaas (Rotterdamn, Netherlands) also tried to edge the Bridgeport defense with a shot of their own. Felician was overran by 26 Bridgeport shots compared to its 3.
The Knights' Kate Thill led the offensive charge with 4 shots and 3 goals and Vivien Ruettgers filled the stat sheet with 3 shots, 2 goals and one assist. Around the 12-minute mark, Felician made a hard foul inside the goal box that rewarded Ruettgers with a free-kick opportunity and resulted as the first Bridgeport goal of the day.
As the match was nearing its final minutes, Bridgeport found a second wind with 3 back-to-back goals, 2 of them being in less than a minute of each other to close out the day, 7-0.

After tonight, Felician drops 2-12-2 and 1-9 in CACC play. Women's soccer returns home this Saturday to Tryon Field in Rutherford to celebrate its senior night as they face Goldey-Beacom at 4:30pm.
