EAST NORRITON, PA – Felician women's bowling caps off its season at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships Saturday morning with a match against the No. 3 seed Bloomfield College.
After yesterday's results, the Golden Falcons were awaiting to see who they will be facing off with as No. 2 Chestnut Hill was set to compete against Bloomfield. In the contest, the Griffins toppled the Bears, sending them into the elimination round with the Golden Falcons.
Following the same format from Friday, Felician played one traditional round and a Baker round in hopes of staying alive. Ultimately, the Golden Falcons succumbed to its opposers to drop 0-2 in the morning contest to put its 2022-2023 season to rest.
Ashley Ferrara (Beachwood, NJ) ended the first round with 222 while Sandra Hornor (Brick, NJ) had 181. Madelyn Watson (Hatboro, PA) recorded 178, Bianca Revenga (Caracas, Venezuela) had 98 and Natalia Ogando (Queretaro, Mexico) had 92. As a team, the squad finished the traditional round with a score of 771 as the Bears posted a 954 to hand the Golden Falcons its first loss of the day.
During the Bakers round, Felician punched out a better performance as a team recording 784, however, it was not enough to clinch the win.
Women's Bowling finished its season with a 8-34 overall record.
