RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician women's basketball hosted Post University in JJJ Gymnasium Tuesday night and
Ane Valle (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain) surged for 34-points to lead the team to an 81-68 victory.
After the first 20-minutes of regulation, the Golden Falcons found themselves holding a 10 point lead over the Eagles to ultimately extend their advantage to their largest lead of 17 duing the final stanza.

- Post recorded a bucket to start the second, but Katie Ritchie (Mentone, Victoria, Australia) went 2-2 from the charity stripe to give the lead back to the green-and-gold for the final lead change of the contest.
- At the time, Ritchie would also give the Golden Falcons the largest lead of 13, 39-26, and would reach that point once more after a Valle layup, 41-28, as halftime approached.
- Valle and Ritchie would immediately score back-to-back points as the Golden Falcons continued to edge the Eagles' attempted comeback, 49-37. Post was able to dwindle down the Felician lead to five points, but the Golden Falcons closed out the third quarter going 7-8 from the free throw line - you read that right .. every green-and-gold point from three minutes to the end of the quarter... were freebees.
