Felician Men's Soccer Dominates Molloy, Wins 4-0 to Extend Their Record

Rutherford, NJ – The Felician University men's soccer team added another victory to their season with a commanding 4-0 win over Molloy University on the road this afternoon, pushing their overall record to 7-2-1. Here's a breakdown of the match:

First Half – The Golden Falcons seized every opportunity presented by their opponents. At the 13-minute mark, Tim Jeager delivered a perfect cross to Hugo Rodriguez, who found the back of the net, giving Felician an early 1-0 lead. Defensively, the Falcons stayed sharp, with key blocks from Shuntaro Morimoto preventing Molloy from gaining any momentum. Later in the half, Morimoto doubled the lead, scoring the second goal in the 31st minute with assists from Rodriguez and Ayato Kaneto. The Golden Falcons entered halftime up 2-0, determined to keep their foot on the gas.

Second Half – Felician continued their relentless pressure. Just minutes into the second half, Morimoto struck again, netting his second goal of the match after another precise assist from Tim Jeager, extending the lead to 3-0. Molloy struggled to break through Felician's defense, with strong efforts from Kohta Yamanashi, Nomar Ogaz, and Manuel Otero holding them at bay. Offensively, the Golden Falcons kept pushing, and a misdirected cross from Hugo Rodriguez forced an own goal by Molloy, making the final score 4-0.

Player of the Game – Shuntaro Morimoto earned Player of the Game honors, recording three shots and two goals in just 67 minutes.

The Golden Falcons enjoy a brief break before hitting the road again, resuming conference play against Bloomfield this Thursday at 7 PM.
