Rutherford, NJ – The inaugural season for the Felician University's Men's Wrestling Team is officially underway as they competed in the East Stroudsburg Open on Sunday in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
It was a great first outing for the program as six Golden Falcons placed in their respective weight classes. Brian Melamud came in first in the 133-pound bracket, making him the first individual champion in program history.
Here are the other Felician Golden Falcons who placed at the East Stroudsburg Open:
Jeremy Quezada- 6th place (157-pound)
Eddie Terreri- 5th place (165-pound)
Justin Perry- 6th place (Heavyweight)
The Golden Falcons will have two weeks to prepare for their next competition, the King Open in Bristol, Tennessee on Sunday, November 17.
