Rutherford, NJ – The Felician Men's Wrestling team competed in their second event of their inaugural season on December 8 in the Bob Quade Cyclone Open in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
Jared Tracey led the Golden Falcons with his second-place finish in the 174-pound division, as he would receive a by in the Round of 16, then go on and win by Fall in the Quarter-Finals in the 2nd period and the Semi-Finals in the 1st period.
Felician had a pair of wrestlers earn fifth place finishes as well: Eddie Terreri (165-pound division) and Justin Perry (285-pound division). In addition to the Golden Falcons who placed in their respective weight classes, freshmen Rafat Al-kardali (149-pound division) and Jeremy Quezada (157-pound division) earned victories to add to the weekend's success.
The Felician Men's Wrestling team will close out the 2024 calendar year on December 19 when they travel to Kutztown, Pennsylvania for the Kutztown Dual.
