Rutherford, NJ - Behind a season-best offensive performance, the Felician University Men's Basketball team picked up a 90-73 victory over American International College on Tuesday night at JJJ Gymnasium.
The Golden Falcons offense was on fire throughout the game. Felician connected on 55.6% of their first half shot attempts, including five of their nine attempts from beyond-the-arc, as their offensive success guided them to a 13-point lead heading into the half. Through the first 20 minutes of action, the Golden Falcons had four players score at least eight points, led by 12 points from Tavian Pullock.
The Golden Falcons didn't let up in the second half, as their offensive surge was too much for American International to keep up with. Felician was able to extend their lead to as much as 24 points, as nine different Golden Falcons scored at least one basket.
Overall, Felician knocked down 62.3% of their shot attempts, a mark that included nine made three-pointers.
Jabri Fitzpatrick led the way for the Golden Falcons with 20 points while Marcus Pierce and Jhonny Tovar each had 19 points in the victory. Tovar made all six of his shots from the floor, including going a perfect 3-3 at the free-throw line.
The Felician University Men's Basketball team is back in action on Saturday, December 14 as they travel to Manchester, New Hampshire to take on Saint Anselm College.Â
