Rutherford NJ - Felician University Women's Track and Field headed up the road to Boston, Massachusetts to compete at the UMass Boston Beacon Season Opener. In what would be a great showcase for the Golden Falcons, the Women's Team would take home a total of three 1st Places during this meet. Here's how the Golden Falcons performed.

In the 60 Meter Hurdles, Aarysa Moore would take home 2nd Place with a time of 9.17. Coming in 4th Place, Jada Carroll with a time of 9.39. 

During the High Jump, Talia Ferguson came in 2nd Place with a distance of 1.60 Meters. Just missing the Top 3, April Disla came in 4th Place with a distance of 1.50 Meters.

When it came to the Long Jump, Talia Ferguson grabbed 1st Place with a distance of 5.36 Meters. Finishing in 3rd Place, Aarysa Moore came in with a distance of 5.30 Meters. 

Once it was time for the Triple Jump, Jada Carroll took home 1st Place with a distance of 10.98 Meters. 

Felician would take home 2 out of the 3 podium places for Shot Put, as Destiny Ellerbe took home 1st with a distance of 11.95 Meters and Destiny Fields taking 2nd with a distance of 10.61 Meters. Wrapping it up for the Golden Falcons within Shot Put, Daliana Rojas took 4th with a distance of 9.73 Meters.

Once it was time for the Weight Throw, Destiny Ellerbe secured her second 1st Place with a distance of 11.91 Meters. Securing 4th Place, Destiny Fields secured her placement with a distance of 11.23 Meters.

The Golden Falcons get to have a few days off before heading to Wagner College and competing at the Seahawks Shootout this Friday, December 13th.
