Ravazza Records Third Hattrick on the Road At AIC

SPRINGFIELD, M.A. - Felician women's lacrosse hit the road for another non-conference match up late Saturday afternoon as they were scheduled to face American International College in Springfield.

Sophomore, Julia Ravazza (Tuolumne, C.A.) posted her third hattrick of the season in the 6-20 defeat to the Yellow Jackets.

Here's What Happened:
  • AIC ignited the first quarter of the play with five consecutive goals to swiftly have the upper hand over the Golden Falcons. Ravazza would cage her first goal of the day to put the green-and-gold on the board and to ignite the Felician offense as Amanda Panaccione (Old Bridge, N.J.) found the net just one minute later to trail, 2-5.
  • The hosts added on two more goals to continue to edge their opposer, however, Ravazza took advantage of a man up situation and tallied another goal, 3-7. Mary Gazaleh (East Windsor, N.J.) was the final first period goal for the squad as they enter the second in a five goal deficit, 4-9.
  • The first period was the strongest for Felician. Through the next three quarters, the Golden Falcons collectively posted two more goals while the Yellow Jackets caged 11 for the 6-20 loss.
  • Ravazza and Gretchen Polst (Old Bridge, N.J.) were the two final goals of the day for Felician.
