Golden Falcons Wrap Up Season Versus Georgian Court

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Felician men's lacrosse wrapped up their 2024 season at Georgian Court University on Wednesday afternoon for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference face off. 

Five Golden Falcons score and Jabes Escalante (Chelsea, M.A) posted a hattrick, in the 7-28 defeat to the Lions. 

Here's What Happened:
  • The Lions held the Golden Falcons scoreless in the first quarter of play while the hosts tallied seven to force the green-and-gold into a swift deficit. 
  • Finn Crocker (South Hamilton, M.A.) broke the Felician cold streak and caged their first goal of the day to trail the Lions 1-9. Ultimately, the Golden Falcons featured their highest scoring frame in the second with four from Crocker, Jayden Rios (Stony Point, N.Y.), Joe Bouab (Ronkonkama, N.Y.), and Escalante's first of his three. 
  • With the second half underway, Felician fell behind the Lions 4-22. Escalante caged two more goals for the squad's sixth of the contest while Luke Dayton (Haddon Township, N.J.) capped of the game with the concluding green-and-gold point, 7-28. 
Box Score Insights:
  • Escalante finished the day with four points on three goals and an assist to lead the charge in the afternoon.
  • Rios picked up five ground balls and Dominick Sala (Deer Park, N.J.) had three caused turnovers. 
  • Nick Grebe (Farmingville, N.Y.) started in cage for the Golden Falcons and saved six while Landon Santangelo (Montgomery, N.Y.) set a personal best with 12. 

Felician men's lacrosse wrapped up their 2024 season with an overall record of 4-10 and a conference record of 1-7.
