Ravazza Breaks Career Points Record in Wilmington (Del.) Defeat

RUTHERFORD, NJ– Felician women's lacrosse falls to Wilmington University (Del.) in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up on Saturday afternoon at Tryon Field.

During the event, Golden Falcon sophomore Julia Ravazza (Tuolumne, Calif.) became the all-time leader in career points with 58 after tallying three in the 6-20 CACC defeat.
 
Here's What Happened:
  • The Wildcats came out strong, scoring 4 straight goals to start the game, however, Kenzie Fox (Surrey, British Columbia) interrupted their offensive pressure with a goal, assisted by Aly Amadruto (Tinton Falls, N.J.), to bring the score to 4-1 through the first six minutes. 
  • Wilmington went on another scoring run netting another 6 goals before Ravazza found the cage for her first goal of the afternoon on a free-position shot. The Wildcats record two more to end the first quarter 12-2. 
  • Ravazza added another goal in the second quarter, this one assisted by Kayla Fox (Surrey, British Columbia) along with Wilmington's five to go into halftime with the Wildcats up 17-3.
  • The visiting team netted two goals in the third and one in the fourth.
  • Mary Gazaleh (East Windsor, N.J.) had two goals on the day, one coming in the third and one in the fourth quarter, and Ravazza netted her third goal of the day in the fourth quarter off of another assist by Kayla Fox.
