Box Score Rutherford NJ - Felician University Women's Volleyball went on the road as they went up against Bloomfield college in their second conference match-up. The Golden Falcons were consistently dominant throughout the entire contest, which led to them winning 3-0, bringing them to a 1-1 conference record while adding another victory to their 2024 fall season, bringing them to an overall record 4-9. The first set was all Golden Falcons, as they would start off with an impressive 13-4 lead. Kills coming in by Megan Barker, Ashanna Caviness, Karla Maldonado, and Kiah Jackson all helped during this run to make sure they held onto the lead. Aly Reeser also helped out with a few digs during the first set that brought the score to 25-13, giving Felician a 1-0 lead. Second set was all the same, the Golden Falcons made sure they held onto the lead. After being tied 4-4 to start the second set, they went on a 16-4 run, with the help of Rylee Botelho setting the ball to bring in kills by Kiah Jackson, Kelly Samano, Karla Maldonado and Sally Plagainos. Bloomfield tried to push back, but with defensive digs coming from Aly Reeser, blocks by Kiah Jackson, and the entire team coming together to solidify this set win, bringing the score to 2-0. In the third set, it would become the most competitive throughout this entire contest. It would go back and forth to start things off, with the score in the middle being 12-10 Bloomfield. The Golden Falcons flipped the switch right after this, as they would begin their run with multiple kills coming in by Megan Barker and Sally Plagianos that helped seal the deal winning the third and final set 25-18, bringing the final score to 3-0.

The Women's Volleyball team gets a 3 day break, but then they go back on the road as they travel down to Delaware to compete against Wilmington this Saturday at 11 AM. The Golden Falcons hold on to a 2 game win streak and aim to add on another victory to keep the streak going and add another victory in conference play.
