Staten Island, N.Y. (January 12, 2025) – The Felician University Track & Field programs delivered impressive performances at the eighth annual Spartan Invitational hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday. Over 1,500 athletes from 30 Division I, II, III institutions and community colleges competed, with Felician athletes setting multiple school records and earning top-10 finishes across events.
Women's Highlights:
Chantoya Thomas headlined the women's events with standout performances in the 400m (3rd, 59.32), 200m (8th, 25.87), and as part of the 4x200m relay team that finished 3rd (1:48.25). Junior Imani Fitzpatrick broke a school record in the 500m, clocking 1:17.79 for 2nd place. Jada Carrol contributed a 3rd-place finish in the Triple Jump (11.59m/37'11.25") and placed 13th in the 60m Hurdles (9.45).
Men's Highlights:
On the men's side, Jake Dejulia set a school record in the 400m, finishing 17th (51.19), while sophomore Amir Elkholy established a new school best in the 500m (1:08.35, 10th place). The men's 4x200m relay team of Devir Britton, Samuel Yepps, Jake Dejulia, and Ben Nelken also set a school record with a time of 1:30.60.

Felician returns to action on Friday, January 19, at the Ramapo College Opener at the 168th Street Armory in New York City. Events begin at 10:00 AM.
