Felician University turned in strong performances at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships, with both teams placing solidly in competitive fields. The women's team earned a third-place finish overall, while the men's squad took fifth.
In the women's 5K, senior
Imani Fitzpatrick led the Golden Falcons with a 10th-place finish in 21:26.6, marking her fourth top 10 finish of the season. Freshman
Brianna Harrison followed in 17th with a time of 22:25.3, while sophomore
Crystal Margotta rounded out the team's top three with a time of 23:07.9 for 25th to help secure the podium placement.
For the men's 8K, sophomore
Patrick Du Bois delivered Felician's top performance, finishing 18th overall in 29:18.8. Rounding out the top three Golden Falcon performers were senior
Joshua Ormilon, who ran 30:08.5 for 25th, and sophomore
Robert Kennedy, who clocked 31:10.1 for 31st.
The Golden Falcons now prepare to wrap up their season at the NCAA East Regional Championships in Contoocook, NH, on November 7th.
