Wilmington, DE. - Felician women's soccer battled to a 1-1 draw on the road against Goldey-Beacom on Saturday afternoon.
After a scoreless opening half, defender
Evee Augustine gave Felician the lead in the 57th minute off a feed from
Melanie Perez. The Lightning responded quickly in the 72nd minute to even the match.
Felician goalkeeper
Isabella Riollano anchored the defense, making seven saves on 16 Goldey-Beacom shots. The Golden Falcons generated five shots of their own. Augustine and
Kate Braun each recorded a shot on goal.
Felician earned five corner kicks compared to Goldey-Beacom's six.
