Wilmington, DE. - The Felician University men's golf team earned third place at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship on Tuesday afternoon, held at White Clay Creek Country Club.
Pablo Hidalgo led the Golden Falcons with a runner-up individual finish, earning All-Tournament Team honors.
Felician posted a three-round total of 960, finishing behind Wilmington and Post. The Golden Falcons opened with a 30-over par first round and followed with consistent 33-over par scores in both rounds two and three on the 7,007-yard course.
Hidalgo finished just one stroke behind Wilmington's Noah Wallace for the individual title. He carded a five-over par, 77 in the final round, bringing his three-round total to nine-over par, 225 to secure second place.
Daniel Martensson also broke into the top 10, finishing at 24-over par, 240. His five-over par, 77 in the final round helped him climb seven spots on the leaderboard.
Carlos Ferreira tied for 15th at 29-over par, 245, while freshman
Alvaro Rogado Tobio placed 23rd in his first CACC Championship, finishing at 34-over par, 250.
Diego Herrera rounded out the lineup with a total score of 269.
