Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The Golden Falcons competed in the Wilkes Women's Open, where they placed first out of 33 teams. Building on their dominant opening weekend, Felician once again put seven wrestlers on the podium.
On the Mat
Talisha Lewis and Emily Whiting led the way for Felician, each earning second-place finishes. Lewis posted a 2–1 record, shutting out her first two opponents, while Doolittle matched the effort with a 2–1 performance of her own.
First-year wrestlers Cerenity Whiting and Lina Rodriguez continued to shine, both going 5–1 on the day to secure third-place finishes. Elinor Underwood added another third-place result for the Falcons with a 3–1 showing in the 110-lb weight class.
After her first-place run at the Princeton Open, Christina Borgman added a fourth-place finish this weekend, going 2–2 in the event. Rounding out Felician's podium group was Theresa Zeppetelli, who recorded a strong 4–2 day to earn fourth place.
