Rutherford, N.J.: The men's lacrosse team put up a hard-fought effort, but fell short in a double overtime thriller against Tiffin University, 5-4, on Saturday at Tryon Field.

The Golden Falcons started strong, taking an early lead with a firs-quarter goal from Shane Abrams. Tiffin responded in the second quarter, tying the game heading into halftime.

The third quarter saw an offensive surge from both teams, with Felician pulling ahead 4-2 behind goals from Luke Dayton, Finn Crocker, and Connor Langdon. Tiffin chipped away at the deficit, netting a late fourth-quarter goal to force overtime at 4-4. 

In the second extra period, Tiffin's Jack Howard delivered the game-winning goal to hand the Golden Falcons the tough loss. 

Goalkeeper Nick Grebe was a force in the cage for Felician, recording 15 saves. Jayden Rios also made a key impact, tallying an assist and securing a team-high 10 shots.
