Rutherford, NJ - Felician opened strong on Friday night but couldn't hold off Mercy in a 3–1 defeat, in their 2025 home opener. The Golden Falcons (2–6, 0–1 CACC) won the first set 26–24 before dropping the next three.
Felician finished with thirty-three kills, twenty-eight assists, twenty-five digs, ten total blocks, and four service aces. Sandra Galas paced the attack with eleven kills and fourteen digs, giving the Golden Falcons steady production on both ends of the floor. Rowan Jensen added eight kills, two blocks, and four digs, while Faith Sibert delivered five kills and five total blocks to help anchor the net.
Elisia Hamilton was efficient, contributing four kills on a .267 hitting percentage and two blocks. Setter Sophia Watterson handed out seventeen assists and an ace, with Caydence Franz adding eight assists and a service ace.
