Men’s Basketball Improves to 7-0 in CACC Play After Taking Down Holy Family

Rutherford, NJ - Felician delivered a steady, wire-to-wire performance at home, controlling the tempo early and maintaining separation en route to a 70–57 victory over Holy Family. The Golden Falcons set the tone from the opening tip, jumping out to a 36–24 halftime advantage behind active defense and consistent execution on both ends. Felician dictated play throughout the first half, using pressure to force turnovers and turning those opportunities into efficient scoring before the break.

The Golden Falcons continued to apply control in the second half, matching Holy Family's energy while preventing any sustained comeback push. Felician finished the night shooting 40.3 percent from the field and leaned heavily on its work inside, scoring 34 points in the paint. Rebounding proved to be a major factor, as Felician held a 56–40 edge on the glass and converted those extra possessions into 13 second-chance points. Defensive activity also stood out, with the Golden Falcons scoring 22 points off turnovers and limiting Holy Family to 29.0 percent shooting overall.

While the pace fluctuated after halftime, Felician's balance and composure allowed it to stay in control. The Golden Falcons built their lead to as many as 17 and spent nearly the entire game in front, closing out the contest with disciplined shot selection and strong interior presence. With consistent rebounding, timely stops, and balanced scoring, Felician secured another conference win and remained unbeaten in CACC play.
