Rutherford, NJ – The Golden Falcons continued their winning ways with a 3-0 sweep of Bridgeport at home. Felician won by set scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-22, extending its winning streak to 5 games while maintaining first place in the CACC North Division. The victory improved the Golden Falcons to 14-8 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
Felician set the tone early, opening the first set with a 4-0 run behind strong serving from Bentley Rone. The Golden Falcons built a commanding 15-5 advantage before Bridgeport attempted a late rally. Felician held off the comeback to secure the opening set, 25-20.
The second set featured a back-and-forth battle, with the teams trading points through the early stages. After the score was tied at 8-8, Felician began to pull away, using a series of kills and Bridgeport errors to build a 16-9 lead. The Golden Falcons maintained control and closed out the set, 25-17.
