Caldwell, NJ – No. 23 Felician advanced to the CACC Championship after defeating Caldwell 88–77 in the CACC Semifinals on March 7, improving to 26–3 overall this season.
The Golden Falcons controlled much of the afternoon in a fast-paced semifinal matchup that featured several momentum swings early before Felician created separation in the second half. Felician carried a narrow 40–37 lead into halftime after an opening period that saw four ties and three lead changes, reflecting the intensity of postseason play.
Out of the break, Felician elevated its tempo and offensive efficiency, scoring 48 second-half points while shooting over 54 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes. The Golden Falcons dominated inside throughout the contest, piling up 56 points in the paint while also capitalizing on second-chance opportunities to maintain pressure offensively.
Felician finished the game shooting 48.7 percent from the floor and turned defensive stops into transition opportunities down the stretch. With the score tight midway through the second half, the Golden Falcons put together a decisive run to extend the lead into double digits and close out the semifinal victory.
With the win, Felician improves to 26–3 overall and advances to the CACC Championship.
