Rutherford, N.J. - The Felician women's volleyball team's dominant stretch continues as they travel north to compete at the 2026 International Volleyball Hall of Fame East Region Clash, hosted by American International College. 

The Golden Falcons will compete twice on Friday, first against Bentley University at 1 p.m., then against D'Youville University at 3 p.m. Felician will close the weekend out with two matches on Saturday when they take on Molloy University at 9 a.m. and American International College at 11 a.m.

All four matches this weekend will be streamed live on FloSports. 


Falcons Flight Notes

• Felician is off to their best start under Kim Butrico, starting the year 5-1, and are winners of five straight matches. 
• The Golden Falcons defeated Pace 3-1 on Tuesday, helped out by Peyton Kellam's 20 kill, 11 dig double-double.
• Rowen Jensen and Sandra Galas both recorded 15 digs.
• Galas leads the Golden Falcons in kills (78), service aces (14), and digs (64) 
• The junior is at or near the top of most offensive conference stats, including first in points (93.5), second in kills per set (3.71), seventh in service aces per set (0.67), and ninth in digs per set (3.05). 
• Kellam is fourth in the conference in hitting percentage (.338).
• Bentley Rone ranks fourth in the conference in assists per set (6.52).
• The Golden Falcons had won 10 consecutive sets entering Tuesday's match.
• Galas had 22 kills and 13 digs against West Chester.
• Against Saint Michael's, Galas shined with 16 kills and 16 digs.
• Later in the day, Galas finished with a career-high 21 kills to go along with 12 digs.
• Sophia Watterson has recorded double-digit assists in three matches this season.
• Bentley erupted for 39 assists against Saint Michael's.
• Bentley has two matches with 37 or more assists.
• Kim Butrico begins her 5th season as head coach.
• The Golden Falcons have qualified for the CACC Tournament in four straight seasons. 
• Sandra Galas, Rowan Jensen and Ashanna Caviness return to Rutherford in 2026. The trio led the team in kills last season, totaling 642. 
• Galas also led the Golden Falcons with 83 aces, 33 more than Jensen, who finished second.
